God Is Visible

"Although it is widely accepted that there is no God, it is quite absurd to think that God does not exist, based on not seeing his presence in our world. There are, in fact, many things that we are sure exist that we do not see, simply by the effect they have upon our lives. Think of harmful microorganisms. They are everywhere, infused within and on everything. We believe they exist because when we get sick, we feel the effects of the infection within our bodies.  We also feel the effects of God within our bodies. We feel a restless search and an anxiety about life. This is simply  the effects of His absence in our souls...which is proof of his existence, and even more so, proof of man's need for communion with the Divine "I Am".

Do we not prove that we feel the pain of separation from God, when we search endlessly for that thing which will make us deeply satisfied and happy? When we indulge in things, which in the end bring us sorrow and emptiness and guilt? And do we not continually search for peace? Take a second look. Look around you, and within your life...with eyes of faith. You will see God everywhere. In everything. And you will see his effect upon your life. Do not shut your eyes and tremble in the dark, fearing that presence there, which you surely feel, but cannot see. Open your eyes! Stop being afraid to face Him! He has been waiting for you! He will show himself to you, if you have eyes to see Him."
